YouTuber Logan Paul has apologized following importing a video showing the human body of an apparent suicide prey in Japan's Aokigahara forest. Paul was visiting the positioning, frequently referred to as the “suicide forest,” within a trip to China and recording it for his daily vlog. He is because taken down the movie and apologized for importing it, declaring he was wanting to increase understanding of suicide.

In the vlog, Paul and his entourage are seen planning to pay a night in the forest, showing off hiking equipment including “binoculars to start to see the ghosts” and “a baseball so we are able to have fun.” They troop into the woods, before the movie cuts to footage of a human anatomy holding from a string under a tree, shot at a distance. “Bro, did we just find a dead individual in the suicide forest?” Paul asks.

The group's guide phones the authorities while they approach the human body, yelling “Hey, are you currently alive, are you currently kidding with us?” They picture the apparent suicide prey up close, blurring his experience but showing his arms, clothes, and forgotten bag. Paul then foretells the camera, expressing: “Suicide is not a joke. Depression and psychological diseases aren't a joke. We came here having an purpose to concentrate on the haunted aspect of the forest. This just became very real.

” The party continue to stay about the human body, recording one another's reactions. Many pointed out that Paul's fanbase is principally comprised of small children and youngsters, who may have been traumatized by the footage.
In his apology, Paul claimed he had faced a “monsoon of negativity” and that his purpose with the movie had been to “increase understanding for suicide and suicide prevention.” “I didn't get it done for views. I get opinions,” he wrote, stressing the recognition of his channel. “I'm often advised of how large of a reach I truly have & with good energy comes good responsiblity... for initially in my entire life I'm regretful to express I treated that energy incorrectly. It will not occur again.”
