As mentioned, installation of the keyboard is done by flashing a keyboard ZIP. Wipe cache + dalvik, flash the keyboard and wipe again. Easy, peasy. Enjoy your keyboard!

Got the Xperia Launcher has stopped error? Navigate to system/build.prop (using a root browser), open it as a text file and add these lines below:

dalvik.vm.dexopt-flags=v=n,o=v,m=y
dalvik.vm.verify-bytecode=false

Make a backup before flashing the zip or modyfing any system files.

PORTED - Get Sony Xperia Z2 Apps On Your Android Device

Another amazing port coming from Jihnu Sur lets us to try out and enjoy the apps of a new Sony device - Xperia Z2. It's been a while from release and now you can savor the apps (including launcher) on your Android device!

[APK] Sony Xperia Z2 Live Wallpaper Ported

Sony Xperia Z2 is the new flagship from Sony, brings up alot of new stuff including a slick wallpaper, which as you might expect, has been ported and is available to all Android users. Does not require root to work!

 

The wallpaper looks very cool. It does not move by default, only if you move your finger, though is relatively "heavy"  - it takes about 30MB of RAM. Anyway, the app is light-weight, it will only cost you about 300Kb of data, and you don't be rooted in case you want to have this wallpaper.

To get the wallpaper, install the APK file, and change the wallpaper.

Ported - Xperia Z1 Home With Working Transparent Bars

Wohay! New port here! This time, as the title says, it's Xperia Z1 Home with working transparent status bar and with working weather widget, clock widget and  music widget! Available in APK file.

Simply put, this app offers everything that the original Xperia Z1 has to offer, nice & smooth UI,  homescreens and lots of other stuff, check the screens below:



As you can see, the Xperia Home works with transparent status and navigation bar, which is a cool new feature from Android 4.4 KitKat. App comes as an APK file and doesn't require root to work. Be sure you're running on KitKat, tho.

Xperia Z Keyboard Ported For All Android Devices

Another leak from the famous Sony device Xperia Z brings up an awesome stylish keyboard with all the original features - 3 themes, awesome words prediction, cool swype feature, multilanguage, customizable layout and more! Now you can get this app also on ICS!

The app is stable and should not make any problems on ICS/JB ROMs. The installation procedure is usual: flash the ZIP in recovery mode.

Don't forget to make a backup before flashing!

If the for some reason the CWM zip didn't work for you or the Keyboard doesn't appear in settings do this:

•  Decompress the zip file. 
•  Ignore the META-INF folder
•  In the app folder, you'll find textinput-chn.apk (Mandarin Chinese keyboard) and textinput-tng.apk (English keyboard).
•  You can move one or both into /system/app folder with ES File Manager/root explorer/etc. (or adb)
•  Move lib/libXT9Engine into /system/lib
•  Move usr/xt9 into /system/usr
•  Reboot. If you still don't see the keyboard in your settings, install the apk with your file manager which should work with the libraries installed.
